BROWN: Jack Leo  1920 - 2007

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Leo Brown on May 3, 2007 at the age of 87 years with his loving family by his side. Jack was born on April 3, 1920 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Jack spent most of his life farming in the Hesketh/Pope Lease area. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan of 62 years, three daughters; Gail (Larry) Mortimer, Jacqueline (Larry) Michta, Sheila (Bill) Gibson, one son; Clayton Brown, seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Audrey Appleyard, and a lifetime of friends. Jack was predeceased by his first born, daughter Shirley. Service of Remembrance was held Monday May 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Knox United Church, if friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Jack’s memory to the Drumheller Health Centre/Acute Care or a charity of one’s choice.

CUMBERFORD: Constance  May 25, 1917 - April 24, 2007

Constance Cumberford passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. She is lovingly remembered by her children Paige (John) Olsen, Becky (Mike) Faunt, Granger (Sandy) Cumberford; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and her sister Doris Graham. Connie was predeceased by her husband Granger in 1998. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her family. At Connie’s request, a private service was held. GRAHAM: Mr. Donald Joseph

Mr. Donald “Don” Graham of Calgary, formerly of Drumheller, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Don was born in Terrace, British Columbia. He attended school and went on to become a proud member of the R.C.M.P. In 1956 while stationed in Wainwright, Don met the love of his life Violetta Christians. In 1957 they were married.  Together they moved around following Don’s career with the R.C.M.P. They lived in Edmonton, Westlock, Drumheller and Calgary finally retiring to Drumheller where they enjoyed many wonderful years together. On November 19, 2004 Don’s wife Vi passed away. He remained in Drumheller until June of 2006 when he moved to Calgary. Don was a very kind man and will be missed by his family, companion and friends.  A memorial service for the late Mr. Don Graham will be held at the Donalda Cemetery on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M.
