McCOMB: GERALDINE ANN  (nee Winslow) February 19, 1948 -  December 26, 2006

Geraldine Ann McComb passed away peacefully December 26, 2006 in Drumheller, AB at the age of 58 years. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents, Parker and Wanda Winslow in 1975. Geraldine will be greatly missed by her loving family; husband, Wayne McComb; son, Brad McComb (Danielle McComb); daughter Cathy Dunlop (David Dunlop); grandchildren, Shayna and Jacob Dunlop, Connor McComb; sisters Dolores (Joe), Nita (Ivan), Pat (Jack), Velma (Frances) and brother Lee (Sharon). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Geraldine to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, 12834-163 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5V 9Z9 or to the Drumheller Continuing Care Centre, 351-9th Street NW, Drumheller, AB, T0J 0Y1. A Memorial Service was held in Drumheller, AB on December 29, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Chapel.

SINCLAIR: Robert Sutherland  1920 - 2006

Bob Sinclair passed away suddenly on Monday December 25 in hospital with family by his side. Bob is the middle child of Polly and Bill Sinclair from Watten, Caithness, Scotland, met in Toronto, married and moved to the home of his birth in Delia.  At a young age Bob worked the farm with his Brother John until he joined the  Canadian Army in March of 1941 and served in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until 1945. He met and married Isabell Fulton of the Springwater area in July 1948. They settled in Delia where they lived in town for one year. They bought The Tasker farm in 1949. They had one son Joseph William. His joys in life were farming which he did till his death. They made many trips camping from a tent with no zipper to the Motor Home that they made many trips south with many special friends. Fishing, curling and time with family and friends held many fond memories.

He is predeceased by his parents and brother John. He will be remembered by his wife Isabell of 58 years, son Joe (Sandy), granddaughters Tara, Tanya (Rad) and great grandchildren Brett, Jerad, Kalie and Daran. sister Isabelle (Lloyd) Dickson of Red Deer, sister-in-law Gladdie Sinclair of Delia, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held in Delia Saturday, December 30 at 2 pm at the Community Hall.
