BRAUN: Jamison July 18, 1978 - March 13, 2006
Jamison Braun passed away in Edmonton on March 13, 2006 at the age of 27.
Jamison leaves behind a multitude of family and friends who will never
forget how deeply he touched their lives. He is survived by his wife Melissa (Urff),
two beautiful sons, Jaxon and Mikal, mother Wendy Braun and her partner Dave
Burroughs, brother Jesse Braun, his grandparents, Bernie and Gwen Braun, his
aunt Shelley and her family, along with great-aunts, cousins and many friends.
Jamison was a vibrant person who loved colour and he appreciated beauty in every
form. This was expressed through his paintings and talented tattoo work. He
appreciated the beauty of nature and loved the time he spent living with his
mother and brother in Kananaskis Country. A small, private ceremony was held in
Drumheller on March 18, following Jamison's cremation. The family would like to
express their gratitude to family and friends for their loving support during
this time of sadness. Special thanks to Barb Coney for the beautiful eulogy she
shared with us in honour of Jamison's short time on this earth.

CHAMCHUK: Roman February 13, 1926 - March 18,
2006
Roman passed away peacefully at Drumheller Continuing Care on Saturday March 18,
2006 with family by his side. Roman is survived by his loving wife of 49 years,
Gloria, and their daughters Connie Dahlby, Brenda Riddick and Roxanne Rowe.
Roman was 'Umpa' to his five grandchildren Bjorn, Ty, Cael, Brittany and Bob.
He is also survived by his mother in- law Pauline Hamm, brother-in-law and
sister-in-law Freeman and Olga Vessey, sister-in-law Elesha Vaughn and
brother-in-law Roy Olesky, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roman was
predeceased by his parents Stephen and Anna and his brother Nick.
Roman came to Canada as a very young child and resided in East Coulee, where he received his education. Roman enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 18 and received his training in Nova Scotia. At the end of World War II he returned home and pursued his interest in business purchasing Central Meat & Grocery which he owned and operated until 1962 when he came to Drumheller to operate first The Corner Grill and later Roman's Restaurant. Roman loved serving the public and the community and took great pride in providing what many considered some of the best food and service in the Valley. Being a member of the Kinsmen club gave him much enjoyment over the years. Roman also enjoyed the annual 'Big Game Hunt' which he looked forward to with great anticipation the camaraderie he enjoyed with the boys always superseding the success of the hunt (or lack there of).
Funeral Services will be held at Knox United Church, Drumheller on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Courtney-Winters Funeral Home. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or the Alberta Cancer Society. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at Drumheller Continuing Care and especially Dr. Nahornick.

SCHAFER: Agnes Evelyn (nee Nelson) 1918 - 2006
Agnes Evelyn Schafer was born June 25, 1918 in Delia, Alberta and passed away
peacefully in Drumheller on March 16, 2006. Agnes is survived by her beloved
husband Albert of 64 years, daughter Linda (Bud) Bryant of Drumheller, Gail
(Richard) Olmstead of Craigmyle, son Rick (Laura) of Cochrane, 7 Grandchildren,
13 Great Grandchildren and many who to Agnes were her unofficially adopted.
Agnes was one of 7 children and is survived by sister Ethel Devaleriola of
Drumheller. She was predeceased by her son Gary, brothers Harry and Paul,
sisters Alice McKeever, Gladys Patterson, and Melva Lynch. Agnes resided in the
Delia Craigmyle area all her life and lived for her family and friends. She
will be sadly missed by all who knew her. It is a comfort to know she has moved
on to mother all those in heaven who went before her. There will be a graveside
service for the immediate family on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the
Delia Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at 2:30 PM at the Delia Community Centre
to which all her family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers donations
can be made to the Salvation Army, Box 3097, 242 1st Street West, Drumheller,
