Beeton: Berkley March 22, 1934 - October 13, 2005
It is with great sadness that the family of Berkley Allen Beeton announce his
passing on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the age of 71 years following a brief
bout with cancer.
Berkely was a multi-talented man who was comfortable on a combine, in control working under the hood of a car, at ease on the back of a horse, smiling as he worked on wood, relaxed as he tooled leather. He loved it all! His most recent and prideful accomplishment was the fact that he remained well enough to do his part in this fallıs final harvest. This was one of his happiest times of the year and he was very grateful that he remained a vital part of it. Berkely's first and greatest love was his family and he is survived by his loving wife Janina, son Ralph (Dianne), daughter Jackie (Dave), and son Roger (Leah), as well as his six grandchildren and his two great-grandchildren. Berkely touched the lives of many and leaves behind a large group of family and friends who will deeply mourn his passing. Memorial services were held Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Knox United Church, Three Hills, Alberta, with interment at Swalwell Cemetery. Arrangements in care of SUNSET FUNERAL SERVICE, Linden, (403) 546-3903.

Mr. Pozzo would always be seen riding his bike in most any direction out of the Valley, often wearing his flower bedecked straw hat, and often accompanied by his 'fleet' of dogs, scouting the roadsides for any items of interest just to get out and enjoy the fresh air. His hobbies included working on and fixing bicycles, and his vegetable garden was second to none, where heıd spend countless hours, babying his garden and greenhouse. He was well known for his sunny disposition, his optimism and his willingness to help everyone in his neighborhood.
