AVRAMENKO: Frances F. (nee Snyder)  1920 - 2005

Frances passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years in Continuing Care at the Drumheller Hospital on March 11, 2005 with her family at her side. She was born in Botha, Alberta on March 22, 1920 to Roy and Edith Snyder. She married William Avramenko in November of 1936 and moved to the Rowley area. Frances was predeceased by her husband William in 1993 and by two grandchildren, Anita Sinclair and Howard Jensen. She will be sadly missed by  her six children, Marie Jensen, Darlene Sinclair (Robert), Leroy, Allen (Fe-Fe), Norley, and Carol Houghton (Nelson); by 13 grandchildren; by 31 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Morrin Community Hall, with Harold Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at the Rowley Cemetery.. LAWRENCE: Roy Logan  1918 - 2005

Roy Lawrence of Drumheller passed away in Drumheller Continuing Care on March 11, 2005 at the age of 86. Roy was born and raised on a farm in the Morrin area. He was very active and a life-time member of Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship. Roy was predeceased by his wife Gwen Lawrence in 1995. He married Evelyn (Schedel) in February 1996 at the Pioneer Centre and they continued to be very active members in pool, shuffleboard, and card games. Roy is survived by his wife Evelyn; son Jim (Carolynne) of Cochrane, AB; daughter Judy (Bruce) Little of Drumheller, AB; son Roy (Brenda) of Drumheller, AB; son Bill of Penhold, AB; daughter Bonnie Sanders of Calgary, AB; daughter Wendy (Ron) Stiles of Sylvan Lake, AB; and daughters-in-law, Sherry and Doreen. Roy had eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on March 19, 2005 at Elim Pentecostal Church with Pastor Lyle Carbert and Pastor Dan Dannhauer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Roy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

REZNECHENKO: John  1927 - 2005

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John, passed away on March 11, 2005 at the Peter Lougheed Centre. John was born at Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on March 20, 1927. He was the youngest of eight children born to Mike and Mary Reznechenko. He married Maxine and became father to her four daughters. He is survived by Maxine, his wife of nearly 40 years; his daughter Sheree
(Jim) Gallant, and Holly, both of Calgary, Marliss (Roger) Fleischhacker of Middle Lake, SK and LeeAnne of Drumheller; his grandchildren Curtis and Brad Fleischhacker and Mallory Gallant; his sister Alice Ackerson of Tacoma, Washington; and his brother-in-law John Kobitz of Maple Creek, SK. John is also survived by Maxine¹s family, Pauline Best, Gordon (Doris) Best, and Helen (Bob) Murdock. John is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He is pre-deceased by his siblings Victoria, Anna (Tony), Helen (Joe), Paul (Lil), (Marvin Ackerson), Philip, Lloyd, and in-laws Ed Best, and Doug (Arlene) Best. After his family, his passions were vacuuming, caring for his yard and home, and meeting with his coffee buddies. He will be missed by all. A memorial service was held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Carbon United Church with Rhonda Pigot, minister. In lieu of flowers, donations in John¹s memory may be made to S.T.A.R.S. TROUT: Lyman Joseph  1947 - 2005

Lyman Jospeh Trout was born April 29, 1947 at Drumheller, AB. He was the 11th child of Frank and Erma Trout of the Byemoor/Delia area. He passed away in the Hanna Hospital on March 11, 2005. Lyman attended school at Majestic and Delia. He was employed by C.N.R. for 12 years as an Engine Watchman. It was his duty to fuel the diesel engines and make certain the units were ready for the rails. During that time he enjoyed working with the crew and a number of them became lifelong friends. On May 24, 1969 Lyman and Glenda Martin were married in a beautiful spring wedding. They were blessed with three children - Cheryl, Kevin and Corry. In 1978 Lyman left C.N.R. and the family moved to their farm south of Hanna. He enjoyed his family, his home and his farm. Lyman had a passion for hunting. He was always watching for that big buck! It seems that now we understand This country man who loved the land. Who woke each day with rising sun And fell asleep with work well done. Lyman will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Glenda; his children Cheryl, Kevin and Corry of Hanna; his mother Erma Trout of Hanna Long Term Care; four brothers and seven sisters, Gwen (Roy) Unsworth of Hanna, Audrey (Harold) Kingcott of Hanna, Gloria and Bob Herzog of Delia, Glen and Wendy Trout of Rumsey, Rosemarie and Carl Nemetz of Stettler, Betty and Robert Ridley of Eureka River, AB Faith and Ted Crowle of Hanna, David and Barb Trout of Hanna, Darrell and Connie Trout of Delia, Marilyn and Bob Muhlbeier of Calgary, Tim and Dixie Trout of Wildwood, AB; Aunt Bev Swainston of Delia and Aunt Alberta Uttley of Stettler. He is also survived by a very large number of nieces and nephews and their families, as well as a number of cousins and their families. Also left to mourn his passing are Lyman¹s mother-in-law, Ann Martin of Hanna, and father-in-law, Oscar Martin of Hanna; brother-in-law and family Murray and Karen Martin - Elise, Heather and Jessica of Drumheller. Lyman was predeceased by his father Frank on August 30, 1987; sister Carolyn on August 30, 1991; brother Austin on May 21, 1993; brother Art on December 24, 1997; and by nephews Blaine Trout in August 1968, Gordon Ridley in March 1986, and Gary Trout on December 24, 1997. Also predeceased by his brothers-in-law Roy Unsworth in March 2001, Harold Kingcott on September 8, 2003, and sister-in-law Vicky Trout in December 2002. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Hanna United Church with Rev. Clarence Sellars officiating.
