Martin: Mary Elizabeth  1954 - 2005

Born August 15, 1954, Mary Elizabeth Martin passed away January 26, 2005 in Drumheller after a lengthy illness. She is sadly missed and survived by her husband Joe Darling; daughter Sherry Lynn Thorne; and sons Rodney and Fred.

Ohlhauser: Roman  1925 - 2005

Roman A. Ohlhauser passed away peacefully on February 12, 2005 at the Drumheller Health Centre at the young age of 79 years. Roman was born September 11, 1925 in the Carbon area, where he farmed and enjoyed his retirement years. He married Eileen Elliott on January 17, 1947.  They raised three children, Donna, Ron and Tammy. Roman enjoyed many successes in his hockey playing and coaching of youth teams in the area. Always prepared to help and offer guidance to youth projects. Roman will most be remembered for his cheerful ways and sense of humour toward all. Roman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen; his three children, Donna (Bob), Ron (Judy), Tammy (Ben); and eight grandchildren, Kelly, Brock, Julie, Crystal, Kalyn, Craig, Trevor and Jordan. Service of Remembrance for Roman will be held Friday, February 18, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Carbon Community Hall with Harold Hunter officiating. A private family interment will follow the service at the Carbon Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. or the M.S. Society.
