Kvill: Floyd Victor  1943 - 2005

Floyd Victor Kvill of Drumheller passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the age of 62.  Floyd is survived by his mother, Doris of Elkpoint, Alberta and two brothers Arnold and Gordon along with many other family members. He was predeceased by his father, George and brother Larry. Floyd was born April 26, 1943 in Lloydminster, Alberta. He was raised on the family farm in Marwayne, Alberta. Floyd had a lengthy career with ATCO Electric. He started with Canadian Utilities when he was 22 years old and stayed with them through their many transitions including their name changes to Alberta Power and later ATCO. Floyd retired in 2000 at the age of 57 years. Floyd was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Drumheller and spent many hours lending a hand wherever he could for the benefit of the club. He was a friend to all and he will always be remembered fondly for his unique animations when he talked and his friendly manner to anyone who walked through the door. Floyd will be missed dearly by his friends and family.  Floydıs friends are invited to share in a service of remembrance to be held at 295 Centre Street, The Royal Canadian Legion, Drumheller on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Captain Simon Downey in care of arrangements.

Sander: Joseph Paul (Joey)

Joseph Paul (Joey) Sander passed away peacefully in the Drumheller Hospital on December 11, 2005. He will be greatly missed by his loveing parents Albinus and Donelda Sander; his brother Mark and family Cody, Samantha and Joshua of Hanna; his sister Margaret (John) of Red Deer; his sister Louise (Ken) and family Tiana, Sarah and Kyndra of Drayton Valley. He loved his family deeply and they all knew they were special and unique to him. Joey had many special uncles, aunties and friends, near and far. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Dr. Neffgen for all his special help he gave Joey. To all the nurses, other doctors and staff who cared for him over the years, the lab ladies and Barb at the clinic. We are so grateful for the extra miles you always went to help us in our time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Hospital Continuing Care. Courtney-Winter's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment of ashes to be in Lethbridge, AB at a later date.
