Holden: Reginald James Frederick
Reginald James Frederick Holden, of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills
Hospital on Friday, August 19, 2005 at the age of 77 years. Reg will be lovingly
remembered by his children, Reg (Barbara) Holden Jr., Michael (Pat) Holden,
Janet (Frank) Rozsa, Robert (Wendy) Holden and Wendy (Frank) Faubert; 13
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers
and sisters: Derrick, Colin, John, Joy and Carol; as well as numerous extended
family and friends. Reg was predeceased by his loving wife Sylvia; brothers
Anthony and Ronald.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to Dr. Christopher Doig, nurses and staff at the Foothills Hospital ICU unit. If so desired, a memorial tribute in Reg's name may be made directly to the charity of onešs choice. Moench: Katherine O.
Katherine O. Moench, nee Bish, left her family on earth to join her family above
on Friday, August 19, 2005 after a short and bitter battle with cancer.
Katherine was born on the family ranch near Kalispell in Flathead City, Montana
seventy-four years ago. Katherine was predeceased by her only son, Ken (Red)
(Leanne) Moench; her parents, Cory and Sophia Bish; four of her five brothers
and her five sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ken; daughters, Kerry
(Louis) Storms, Rich Valley, AB and Kathy Ellen (Kyle) Beebe, Kobar, USA;
special daughters Leanne (Jim) Sorenson, Endiang, AB; Shannon (Lance) Sambell,
Stony Plain, AB, and Kathy (Rick) Weich, Hanna, AB; her two beloved
grandchildren:
Tyrell and Kaylah Beebe; a sister/niece Myrna Pat Parr and one brother, Gary
Bish, both of Washington State. Katherine also leaves behind numerous nieces,
nephews, and great nieces and nephews each of whom were special to her.
Katherine had a love for the arts and enjoyed reading, music of all kinds, and
painting. In the last years, she struggled to continue doing fancywork as her
eyesight failed. Katherine's final wishes will be met later this week with a
memorial/wake. Details to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to

Ross: Elizabeth (Beth) (MacGillivray) 1913 -
2005
Passed peacefully on July 28, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas
Ross, and by Angus MacGillivray, and is survived by her children: Bob Ross
(Susan), Helen Webster (John), Colin Ross (Erica), Jim Ross (Faye), and Jean
Wilmshurt (Dan); her brother Morris Stevenson (Jean), and sister-in-law Margaret
Stevenson. Her great love was her family, which also included five
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She will live with us through our
memories of wonderful times shared with her. She requested that no memorial
service be held; there will be a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Douglas Ross Bursary Fund at the UVic School of
Music, the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation: Extended Care Unit, or to a
charity of your choice. For their love and kindness, our thanks go to the staff
at Saanich Peninsual ECU, to Dr. Ewin Cadger, and to Dr. Donna Cuthbert. Upon
Bethšs request, her ashes will be buried at the Drumheller Cemetery.
