Fletcher: Esther Frances (Humphrey) 1915 - 2005
Esther Fletcher, age 89, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital Extended Care Unit
in Comox, B.C. on February 4, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Alex in
1975 and two brothers, Arthur and Thomas. Esther is survived by one son, Bill of
Campbell River, B.C., and three grandsons, Dean resides in Whistler, B.C., Jason
in Vancouver, and Milo in Duncan on Vancouver Island. Her great grandson Markus
is with his parents Jason and Sonya in Vancouver. Other surviving family members
are brothers George and his wife Elsie, Leroy, Stanley, Harry; and sisters Edna
Sherk, Leora Thompson, and Lillian Rideout. Esther was born on the Humphrey farm
on June 22, 1915. She attended high school in Drumheller and lived near and in
Delia for many years. In 1952 Esther moved to Wynndel, B.C. Esther worked full
time until age 78. She was a very capable manager employed variously by the
Co-op store in Wynndel, and Kozy Heating and Joyıs Plumbing and Heating in
Creston. She moved to Campbell River to be with her son Bill and daughter-in-law
Sheryl in 2000. A brief graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 30,
2005 at 1 p.m. at the Delia Cemetery. A celebration of Estherıs life and lunch
will follow in the Delia Community Centre.

Goodey: Marjory Georgina
Marjory Goodey of Drumheller, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2005 at the age
of 80 years. She is survived by her son Daniel (Linda) Goodey of Drumheller;
grandchildren, Tara (Rob) Yashinski of Calgary, Shane Goodey of Drumheller,
Melanie (Jamie) Coleman of Drumheller, and Wes (Gloria) Dominique in Windsor,
Ontario; 5 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Kay LeGros and 2 special
nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
Witnesses, 207-17th St. NW, Drumheller, ABon Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 2:00
pm. If friends wish, donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall Fund of

Marshall: Doreen 1919 - 2005
In loving memory of our mother, Doreen Beryl Eaton, born May 1919 in Loverna,
Saskatchewan, passed away April 11, 2005 at Drumheller Continuing Care. She was
predeceased by her soul mate Kenneth Marshall (1994), and her youngest son,
Robert Devaleriola (1998). She is survived by her children Deanna (Dennis)
Notland of Morrin, Alberta; Jim Deva of Vancouver, British Columbia; Trudy
(Jerry) Spray of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Wanda (Stan) Hampton of Morrin, Alberta;
and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Devaleriola. Her memory will also be cherished by
her grandchildren, Melissa (Blake) Nuccio, Michelle Spray, Darcy Notlan, Curt
(Abby) Notland, Karen (Chad) Block, Tara Hampton, Robyn and Kevin Devaleriola;
and her three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Colby Notland, and Morgan Block.
Doreen proudly served in the Canadian Womenıs Army Corps from 1942 to 1946 in
the medical division, at Currie Barracks in Calgary, Alberta. She spent many
happy years on the farm in the Morrin area raising her children, and foster
children. She also enjoyed running her successful dog kennel. In her retirement
years she was actively involved in farmerıs marketing throughout the central
Alberta area. A memorial service to celebrate Doreen's life will be held at the
Morrin Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers
donations can be made to the Drumheller Health Centre Foundation directing funds
to the Continuing Care Unit.

Russton: Mary (Ewing) 1940 - 2005
It is with deep sadness that the family of Mary Agnes Ruston wishes to announce
her passing. Mary was born in Camrose, Alberta on August 7, 1940 and passed away
in Edmonton on March 23, 2005. Mary is survived by her loving family, son Kerry
(Colinda) Oshiro of Calmar, and daughter Kelly Oshiro of Quebec. As well as
several grandchildren, Mary also leaves her sister Georgina (Frank) Thompson,
brothers John Ewing and Don (Linda) Ewing and their families, all of Drumheller.
Mary was predeceased by her father John Ewing in 1986, and her mother Agnes
Ewing in 1989. If anyone wishes, donations may be made in her name to the
Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Zima: Robert William (Bob)
Robert William Zima (Bob) passed away April 5, 2005 at the Drumheller Health
Centre after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his
wife Marilyn; daughter Vicki (Alex); son Rob (Michelle); and his grandchildren
Kelsie, Dylan and Colby. He will also be remembered by his brother Mike (Jean);
brothers-in-law Dean (Maxine), Elvin (Janice); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Drumheller, Bob had several jobs. Some of those jobs included
the coalmines, plumbing, Pan Canadian and the Penitentiary. Bob was a member of
the Elks and the Legion Clubs for over 30 years. Bob had a special place in his
heart for each of his grandchildren; Colby his monster, Dylan his bud, and
Kelsie his sweetheart. He also had a passion for his garden (which he was very
proud of), and many of us enjoyed the fruits of his labour over the years. Bob
loved kids and animals and was also known for his mischievous ways that will be
deeply missed by all that knew him. Funeral services were held Monday, April 11,
2005 at the Knox United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
