Rovere: Pauline Mary (Azzano)
On June 29, 2004, Pauline Rovere passed away at the Drumheller Continuing Care
Facility at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her son Ray (Maxine) of
Sherwood Park, Alberta, 6 grandchildren, Darin (Maysa), Ryan (Natalie), Lance
(Jody), Louis, Lynnell, Daryl, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and
nephews. Pauline was born in Cusano, Italy in 1910 to Peter and Mary Azzano.
When she was eleven years old, her family moved to Rosedale, Alberta, and
Pauline resided in the Drumheller Valley all of her life with the exception of
her winters spent with her daughter Marina in California. Pauline was
predeceased by her husband Angelo, her son Rudy, her daughter Marina, and three
brothers, Benjamin, Louis and Sylvio. Prayer Vigil was held Friday July 2, at
8:30 P.M. from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was held
Saturday July 3, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Anthonyıs Roman Catholic Church,
interment followed at the Drumheller Cemetery where she was laid to rest beside
Angelo. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Courtney-Winterıs Funeral Chapel were in care of the
arrangements.

Stol: Derek Myles
Derek Myles Stol passed away suddenly June 29, 2004 at the
tender age of 19 years. Derek was predeceased by his beloved grandparents Klaas
and Annemarie Stol. Derek is survived by his loving mother Nicole Stol (Mike)
and beloved siblings Desiree and Mitchell (Mraz), Tammi, Tina and Kayla. Father
Willi, Uncles Klaas and Hans Stol, Auntie Kim Stol, Michele Koster. Grandparents
Ann Von, Charles and Darlene Von, Auntie Heather Franciotti, Uncles Chuck and
Mac Von and numerous cousins and nephews as well as extended family
members and many lifetime friends who shared cherished memories of Derek. Derek
was born October 10, 1984 in Drumheller. He attended school in Morrin. His
passion was golf and he saved his money to invest in the best clubs available to
improve his game. His other interests were hockey and skateboarding. At an early
age he mastered the art of Lego building and 3-D puzzles. Like his Grandpa Stol
and Uncle Klaasie, he had the gravel trucking business in his blood. Derek's
life was celebrated at the Courtney-Winters Funeral Home, with internment
following at the Drumheller Cemetery and luncheon at Midland Hall where family
and friends shared special memories. If desired donations may be sent to the
Drumheller Salvation Army.
