Johnson: Terrance (Terry) Michael Darrell  1948 - 2003

Terry Johnson passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on November 14, 2003.   Terry was born in Drumheller, Alberta on June 26, 1948 and raised in the Morrin area.  He attended SAIT, graduating as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.  After graduation he worked for Calm Air in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, Field Aviation, International Jet Air, PWA and Aero Metal, all in Calgary.  Terry will be lovingly remembered by three brothers and three sisters, Art (Margaret), Gordon, Larry (Elaine), Doreen (Don Cuncannon), Marion (Leonard Olsen), and Ann (Adolf Holzli); and by his daughters, Melissa Nuccio, Michelle Spray, and Terri Lynn Johnson; as well as by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Erella Johnson.  At his own request, Terry will be cremated and there will be a family Memorial Service at a later date.  If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Terry may be made to a charity of one's choice. Schumacher: Gladys  1906 - 2003

Gladys Schumacher passed away November 23, 2003, at the age of 97 years.   Mother, you will be loved by your family for ever:  Stan Schumacher, June Billman and Jean Sakal.   Funeral details will be announced at a later date.

Stoneman: Vivien Marjorie (Marge)

Vivien Marjorie Stoneman passed away on the early morning of November 19, 2003 at Drumheller and District Continuing Health Care Services at the age of 91. Marge was one of the first babies born in the Orkney District and she attended school there.  It was there that she met and married her husband Clarence Stoneman. In 1948, they moved to the farm in Morrin during the spring flood.  Marge spent her next 45 years as part of the Morrin community and in 1964 they moved the family into town. Marge had many hobbies and interests such as gardening, cake decorating and needlework and she was a wonderful cook.  In 1990 Marge moved to the Sunshine Lodge in Drumheller and then into Continuing Care.   Marge was predeceased by her husband Clarence Stoneman in 1976 and one grandson David Babcock.

Walker: Edna May (Northcott)  1916 - 2003

Edna May Walker (Northcott) of Drumheller passed away peacefully on November 17, 2003 in Athabasca at the age of 87.  Edna was born to Allen and Maude Northcott November 6, 1916.  She was the eldest sister to Gwen and Ray and they were raised in Drumheller.  She married Bill Walker and together they had six children, five sons and one daughter.  She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1981 and also her sister Gwen Lawrence.  She is survived by her brother Ray Northcott and his wife Raylene of Calgary, and their children, spouses and children; her son Allen, his wife Etta, of Athabasca and their three daughters, spouses and children; her son David, his wife Evelyn of Drumheller, and their two sons, spouses and children; her son Donald and his wife Pat of Morinville; her son Dennis, his wife Adelle of Edmonton and their son and daughter; her son Gordon, his wife Judy of Calgary and their two sons and one daughter; her daughter MaryLynn and husband Allan Fraser of Fairview and their five sons and one daughterr, spouses and children.  Edna has 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. The funeral service for Edna was held on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle in Drumheller.  Officiated by Pastor Dan Dannhauer and interment at the Drumheller Cemetery. Edna was a woman who loved God.  She provided for and raised an ambitious, loving and kind family.  She never faltered in her understanding and caring for others.  We are grateful for the legacy of faithfulness and servitude she left behind. 

Yemen: Catherine Rielly 1920 - 2003

Catherine Rielly Yemen passed away peacefully November 21, 2003.  Born to Jock and Elizabeth Pennycook on June 25, 1920 in Portabello, Scotland. Catherine is survived by her sisters:  Jean (Nick) Warkentin, Billie (Roy) Payne, Wendy (Cliff) Reiling, Lolo Slater, Essie LePard; and brother Stewart (Lil) Pennycook.  Left to mourn are her daughters:  Cathy (Bill) Braunberger, Sandy (Cam) Guimont, Lynn Denis and Jim Nowesad; and son Terry (Pam) Yemen; as well as grandchildren Nathan, Erin, Cathy, Michael, Cam, Jacqueline, Colette, Courtney and Joshua; and 10 great grandchildren. Catherine was predeceased by grandson Andy in 1981. Cathy's greatest joy in life was her family, dog Benji and being "Nan" to all of her grandchildren. Funeral services in her memory were held Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at St. Maglorie's Anglican Church at 1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to S.T.A.R.S., 1441 Aviation Park N.E., Box 570, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7, would be appreciated.
