Jamieson: Charles Stuart

On July 8, 2003, Mr. Charles Stuart Jamieson of Edmonton passed away at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Isabel, on May 10, 2002 and his sister-in-law, Willia Sands, on June 10, 2003. He is survived by his loving family, one son, Allen (Marianne); two daughters, Patricia (Frank) and Sharon (David); five grandchildren, Michael, David, Danielle, Jason and Ben; and four great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Mark Sands; nephew, Dale (Suzanne) Sands; niece, Sandra (Mark) Nicklom, and their families. Mahoney: Freda Adeline 1921 - 2003

Born on March 21, 1921, Freda Mahoney died on July 20, 2003, at the Hanna Hospital. Freda has left to mourn her son Garry; daughter-in-law Carol; grandson Dean with Rhonda and great grandson Tristin of Drumheller; and son Dennis and Mariann of Hanna; as well as a sister Elsie of Westbank, B.C.; several nieces and nephews; and friends. Freda lived in Calgary for 30 years prior to moving back to Hanna in February of 1997, where she resided in a Villa until illness took her into hospital on July 1. Services will be at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 17th Avenue at Garden Road S.E., Calgary, on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at 2 p.m.; viewing will be at 1:30 p.m.

McLaughlin: Elizabeth Leafie 1908 - 2002

Elizabeth Leafie McLaughlin passed away July 6, 2002 at Deni House in Williams Lake, B.C. Elizabeth was born November 12, 1908 in Ethelton, Saskatchewan. Elizabeth, husband Fred, daughter Kathleen and son Bud moved to Drumheller in 1947. She was predeceased by husband Fred in 1965 and her precious son Bud in 1988, she resided in Drumheller until her stroke in 2000. Elizabeth's family moved her to an extended care facility in Williams Lake, B.C. to be near her family. Mom / Nan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kay Dillman of Williams Lake; granddaughter Linda Soderlund (Dennis); great granddaughter Melanie Ablitt (Troy); great-great grandchildren Dayton and Brianna of Williams Lake; great granddaughter Christy Soderlund and her children, great-great granddaughters Savannah and Emily Elizabeth; great granddaughter Lisa
Soderlund, all of Calgary. Granddaughter Shannon McLaughlin (Doug); great granddaughter Shayla (Nan's shadow); and great grandson Dallin, all of Fort McMurray. Elizabeth was predeceased by brothers Alex, Doug and Joe Fidler, also sisters Olive, Eva, Vi and Florence (2002). Elizabeth is survived by brother Alvin and Tom, sisters Mary and Gertie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Don't think of her as gone away --her journey has just begun. Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched...for nothing loved is ever lost---and she was loved so much.
