Wright:  Opal Valerie Wright passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family May 14, 2002. Opal was born in Bracken, Saskatchewan August 25, 1932. She was predeceased by her husband Clinton Wright in 1994, brother Jim Booth and sister Joyce Booth. She leaves behind to mourn her passing and to hold dear in their hearts her children, Debbie (Dallas Hawkings of Rocky Mountain House, Ed (Colleen) Wright of Hanna, Darlene (Mike) Rowe of Red Deer, Glen Wright of Drumheller, Christine (Brian) Chayer of Ponoka, Diane (Myron) Litwin of Irricana, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sisters Delores (Jack) Jennings, Gloria (Allan) Whitelock, brothers Bud Booth, Earl Booth (Gail), and Bernard Booth (Grace) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, May 18 at the Church of the Nazarene in Drumheller, Alberta with Pastor Wayne McCrackin officiating. Internment followed in the Drumheller Cemetery. If friends or family desire, donations may be made in memory of Opal to either the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic, the MS Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Courtney's Funeral Services of Hanna were entrusted with arrangements.
