Brown: It is with profound sadness that we announce the quite sudden passing of our loved one, Ronald Gordon Alexander Brown (Ron Jr.) on Saturday, April 27, 2002. Ron Jr. was surrounded by family and dearest friends as we said our last goodbyes. Ron Jr. has resided in the Elk Valley for 30 years. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, camping and had a great fondness for nature and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his loving partner Billie (Irene OŐBrien), parents Ronald and Marie Brown of Elkford, six sisters - Mary-anne Helle of Lethbridge, Brenda Fitzherbert of Sparwood, Beverly Donais of Drumheller, Barbara Filipe of Elkford, Bonnie Brown of Elkford, Marilyn Sutherland of Terrace, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his many friends. After his passing, Ron Jr.Ős life was celebrated with his immediate family and his closest friends as Ron Jr. requested that no services be held following his cremation. Jamieson: On May 10, 2002, Mrs. Isabel Patricia Jamieson (nee Lannon) of Edmonton passed away at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Stuart; one son, Allen (Marianne); two daughters, Patricia (Frank) and Sharon (David); five grandchildren, Michael, David, Danielle, Jason and Ben; four great grandchildren and one sister, Willia (Mark) Sands. A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Marshall: Fred Marshall passed away on March 27, 2002 at the age of 83 in Highcliffe, England. Fred, the son of Dan & Grace Marshall ran a garage business called Fred's Auto Body in Craigmyle for over 20 years and farmed south of Craigmyle near his parentŐs farm. Fred and his family moved to England about 30 years ago but never forgot all his loving family and friends from Craigmyle and surrounding area. He will be sadly missed by Debbie, his daughter and her husband Dick and grandchildren David & Hannah. Fred is also survived by 3 brothers Ernest of Delia, Nick of Richmond, B.C., Bert of Calgary, 1 sister Gladys Lewis of Calgary & numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his wife May, sister Lily Kanik & 1 son Colin.
