Christensen: Ross Jorgen Christensen of Drumheller passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at the age of 58. Ross is lovingly remembered by his children, his son Nathan (Alyssa) of Drumheller, his daughters Janine (Dave) Frere of Trochu and Lorie Schultz of Calgary; his 6 grandchildren Kody and Brooklyn Christensen, Jordan Frere, and Amanda, Destiny, and Deserae Schultz and; by his mother Betty Christensen of Drumheller; by his brothers Dick (Dianne) of Drumheller and Harley (Marilyn) of Drumheller; by his sisters Margaret (Terry) Guta of Calgary and Penny (Mark) Hansen of Drumheller; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Ross was predeceased by his wife Velma and his father Chris. A Memorial Service was held at Courtney-Winter's Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 8, 2002 at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Mac Jones presiding. Internment followed in the Drumheller Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Ross' memory to S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance (Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 9Z9).
