Campbell: A memorial service was held in Winnipeg, June 12, 2002 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, to celebrate the life of Mary Campbell. Mary passed away suddenly in Mexico, December 8, 2001. She is survived by her daughter Susan (John) Campbell, Lake Chapala, Mexico, and her son Duncan (Lara Heller), Vancouver, B.C., her granddaughter Jill Campbell, Edmonton, her brothers Donald (Helen) McKenzie and John (Noreen) McKenzie, Drumheller, four nieces, two nephews and numerous friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stuart and her grandson Tom Campbell. Till we meet again "Somewhere over the Rainbow."

Semaka: Shirley Semaka passed away on June 21, 2002 at Drumheller Continuing Care. Shirley is survived by her husband Alex Semaka, her brother Jack (Lee) Findlay, and children Rick (Sheila) Brock, Elaine (Fred) Ewing, Frank (Shirley) Semaka, Marian (Ed) Hildebrand and Margaret (Paul) Skydt. Grandma is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, with more anticipated. Shirley was born on August 20, 1918 in Drinkwater, Saskatchewan, the oldest of five children and only daughter to Ralph and Gladys Findlay. Her teaching career started at the age of 19 in Maple Creek and she taught many years in Calgary and Drumheller. During her retirement she was an active member of the community and loved to socialize. Shirley was a cherished member of our family and will be dearly missed. Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Knox United Church in Drumheller, Alberta with the Reverend Blair Kirkby presiding. In Shirley's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Alberta (220, 2323 Ð 32 Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 6Z3) or to Drumheller Continuing Care (Box 4500, Drumheller, Alberta, T0J 0Y0).
