Kirkeby: Leonard Charles 1931 - 2002

With deep sorrow, the family of Leonard Charles Kirkeby, of Linden, AB announce his passing on November 27, 2002.  Len had a zest for life that was unsurpassed. He was predeceased by his best friend and wife, Hazel, as well a son Dwayne, 3 sisters, Mabel, Effie and Lou and 1 brother Eddie. He is survived by his loving children:  Fred Charley (Marilyn) Edmonton, AB; Len Kirkeby Jr. (Alice) Edson, AB; Lynn Kirkeby, Old, AB; Darryll Charley, Edmonton AB; Debbie Logan (Ed) High River, AB; Randy Kirkeby, Olds, AB; Sandy Kirkeby, Trochu, AB; Carla Potts (Andy) Olds, AB. He will be missed deeply by his grandchildren:  Dean, Brandy, Amy, Stacey, Leanne, Bradley, Adrienne, Cody, Christina, Amber and Jennifer, as well as his great-grandchildren:  Ashley, Courtney and James. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Jim and Gordie, 2 sisters, Stella and Verna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Linden Cultural Centre, Linden, AB.  Arrangements in care of Sunset Funeral Service, Linen.  403-546-3903.
