Rees: David Rees of Craigmyle passed away at the Hanna Continuing Care Centre on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife Violet of 51 years, two sons, Bruce (Susan) and Brian, five grandchildren, Katie, Robert, Andrew, Adam and David, one daughter-in-law Nancy Rees and one sister Peggy (Moe) Edwards, family members Steve (Gladys) Smith, Randy Smith and Barbara Jeffs, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David was an active volunteer in the Craigmyle district and enjoyed farming, truck driving, baseball, curling and "just life." His grandchildren were his pride and joy. A celebration of David's life was held at First United Church in Hanna on Monday, December 23, 2002.
