Shearlaw:  (Douglass Garland)  Douglass Garland Shearlaw passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox, B.C. on August 10, 2002. Doug was predeceased by his loving wife Emily Guss/ Shearlaw, his father Joseph Garland Shearlaw, his mother Mary Margaret Napier of Drumheller and his brothers Norman and Ronald Shearlaw of Three Hills, A.B. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Roberta and Joe Parades of Edmonton, Joseph and Lorraine Shearlaw, Patricia and Dennis Gillrie and Maxine and Cam Harker of Calgary, three grandchildren Heather and Don Faulkner of Calmar A.B., Doug and Kathy Paradis of Edmonton and Chris Gillrie of Calgary and four great grandchildren, Amy and Leah Faulkner and Tristin and Amber Paradis and one great great granddaughter Katie Faulkner. Doug will be cremated in B.C. and his ashes will be buried next to his wife Emily in his family plot in Drumheller, AB. There will be a gathering of family and friends in the home of Joe Shearlaw in Calgary, AB. on August 24th, 2002 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Salvation Army. 33p

Yost: (Robert)  Mr. Robert Yost, a long time resident of the Drumheller valley passed away peacefully in Drumheller on August 11, 2002. At the age of 48 years. Robert was born on November 6, 1953 to Fred and Helen Yost. He spent his lifetime in Drumheller, employed as a truck driver. Robert leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Fred and Helen Yost, sister, Barb (Jim) and family, son Jack (Dawn), daughters, Gleena, Melissa, Angie, Kathy, grandchildren, Catalina, Taylor, Aaron, Rebecka and a lifetime of friends. Robert will be sadly missed. He was predeceased by his two boys, Richard and Robert Yost. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, August 17 at 1:30 p.m. from Courtney-Winter's Chapel in the Valley. Interment will follow in the Drumheller Cemetery.
