Jones: Morgan Edward Jones passed away April 14, 2002 at the age of 56 years leaving behind numerous nieces and nephews and friends. There will be no funeral service. There will be a burial at Drumheller Cemetery on July 29th, 2002 on Morgan and Paulette's wedding anniversary. May both Morgan and Paulette, who passed away on February 14, 2002, have happiness and eternity together.

Nyckolichuk: Pearl Nyckolichuk (1911 - 2002) passed away at the Continuing Care section of the HA5 Health Services Facility in Drumheller on Sunday, April 21, 2002 at the age of 91 years. Pearl was born in Werbowce, Horodenka (province), Poland on March 31, 1911. Her father immigrated to Canada after the first war and settled on a farm at Maecham (near Saskatoon), Saskatchewan. Pearl, one sister and their mother, (the other married sister remained in Poland) joined their father / husband in 1926. The ship docked in Canada on July 1st of that year. Pearl met her future husband, a miner, in the bustling mining town of Wayne, Alberta while visiting her married sister. She married Nick Nyckolichuk in the Wayne United Church, February 28, 1932. They moved to Midlandvale in 1935. Pearl spent two years at the Baker Sanatorium receiving treatment for tuberculosis. Pearl was pre-deceased by Nick, who died in 1974. She was able to live independently in her house in Midland until declining health made it necessary for her to enter the J.R. Ross Nursing Home in 1998. She enjoyed gardening and teaching the neighbors how to garden. She is survived by her niece Elizabeth (Charles) Brander of Prince George, a number of cousins and close friends, the Eremko family of Midlandvale. A private family service is planned.

Young: Barbara Pauline Young (Nash) passed away peacefully on April 9, 2002. Predeceased by her father, Norman Nash and niece Shelley Rae Nash. Barbara will be lovingly missed by her daughter Talia (Chris), son Dean, mother Oakie, brothers Guss (Terry), Fred (Donna), Gordon (Marvel), sister Penny (Bob); nieces and nephews and a host of friends and many other people whose lives she touched. A memorial service was held on April 13, 2002 at the Burquitlam Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
